The Westgate was recently awarded the '4-Star Silver Award' by the Quality in Tourism Council. This is in recognition of the facilities on offer, as well as the care and attention to detail that the staff extend to their guests.

The Westgate has a double en suite room on the ground floor.
All rooms are of a good size and contain en suite bathrooms. Each room is tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished and includes a variety of facilities, including free wireless broadband, Freeview TV and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast consists of a choice of cereal, fruit juice, yogurt, fresh fruit, grapefruit segments, prunes, a full cooked breakfast or smoked salmon and scrambled egg. There is toast and preserves, as well as tea, coffee, and flavoured teas.

From the M5:
- Follow the A38 to Torquay.
- Then take the A380.
- Then take the A3022 into Torquay.
- Stay in the right-hand lane when you reach the junction of Torre station and Halfords.
- Follow Avenue Road and pick up signs to the seafront and Paignton.
- At the junction of the Riviera Centre and Falkland Road, turn sharp left onto Falkland Road.
- The Westgate Hotel is approximately 200 metres on the left-hand side.

The hotel has a large on-site car park.

Torquay train station & coach station are within walking distance to The Westgate.

Upon making your reservation, the cost of the first night's stay will be charged by the hotel to your credit card as a deposit. The remaining payment will be expected in full on arrival.
